That is the reasons why, it is quiet important what kind of food you eat, to eat vegetables, fruit, legumes (bean products) and to drink enough water two or three litres per day become fundamental.
Causes of Constipation:
Nobody knows what causes constipation, but generally doctors accept that constipation can be provoked by different factors;
Stress: usually people suffer some hectic or
stressful period, these ones help to develop constipation, but
if you have constipation last longer than three months, probably
is a chronic constipation. In this case you should visit doctor
urgently.
Food: people who suffer constipation prefer
to eat white bread, meat and puddings, this is the main reason
why they have constipation, it is necessary they eat roughage,
it may found in: vegetables, fruit, legumes (bean products)
and water (it is recommended to drink two or three litres per
day). If you eat enough roughage your bowels will work properly.
Exercises: exercise is necessary because your
bowel begins to work properly, modern life makes you spend the
whole day sitting at your desk, your car or simply in front
of the television.
Medication: some
medication can affect your bowel movements; for example: amitriptyline,
antacids (with aluminium or calcium), anticholinergics , barium
sulphate, bismuth , calcium, antagonists, cholestyramine, clonidine,
colestipol, disopyramide, diuretics, iron, nonsteroidal anti-inflammation
agents, opioids, phenothiazines, phenytoin, propantheline, scopolamine,
sucralfate, sympathomimetics, tricyclic antidepressants, vincristine.
Treatment of Constipation:
